Country music week comes to Calgary

COUNTRY MUSIC WEEK

Calgary loves country music, and country music loves Calgary! That’s why Country Music Week, a roving celebration of roots music in Canada, has taken place in Calgary more than any other host city! It’s returning again this year from September 5 to 8. Come visit to have some boot-stomping fun all over the city, culminating in the Canadian Country Music Association Awards show on September 8!

There are names that have come up again and again at the Canadian Country Music Association Awards: names like Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Alan Doyle, Jade Eagleson, Lindsay Ell, Tim Hicks, Andrew Hyatt, Aaron Pritchett, The Reklaws, Tenille Townes, The Wilkinsons and Michelle Wright. Well, what could be better than a show featuring every single one of those acts at the Jack Singer Hall on Friday, September 6?

CANADIAN COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION AWARDS

Celebrating the very best in Canadian country, the CCMA Awards are when the stars come out! This year’s show  will be hosted by Dallas Smith and Bill Ray Cyrus at TD Place on September 8^th.
